Red Angus Beef

Whole / Half / Quarter

Our livestock is raised on rotational grazed pastures and finished with a balanced diet of grain and hay. All animals are hormone-free and vaccinated for the health of the animal. No mRNA vaccines are used for vaccinations. Our beef and hogs are processed at one the following facilities: Lyon Country Meats and Oak Hill Processing depending one where we have appointments. We will also take our hogs and beef to Swiss Meat & Sausage Co. or Williams Bros Meat Market if you are purchasing a whole animal. We have to make our beef appointments typically 4-6 months in advance and will be on a first come first serve basis. When you place your order near the time of delivery we will provide the processors contact information with you along with the cutsheet so you can contact the processor and indicate how you want your purchase. Heritage Berkshire Pork

Whole / Half

Our Berkshire heritage pork is raised on dirt/pasture/range and is hormone-free. All animals are vaccinated for the health of the animal. Prior to having the hog processed, you will receive an email and call from Idle Wind Farms about the process to guide you through what will happen and how you will need to walk through the cut sheet with the processor based on your cut preferences. (Eg. Hams, sausages, chops, shoulder/steaks, bacon, jowl, ribs, curing, and thickness). All cuts will be vacuumed packed for our beef and pork cuts.
